Pull-String Design – Easy Tip Preparation

The NILAI 1818 uses a practical pull-string peel system that makes it easy to expose more pencil core without using a traditional pencil sharpener on the outer barrel.

For professional flat-tip preparation:

1. Pull – Gently pull the white string downward to expose approximately 1–2 mm of the core.

2. Peel – Carefully remove the loosened outer wrapping around the pencil.

3. Shape – Use a suitable eyebrow pencil blade, cosmetic pencil shaping tool or file to shape the exposed core from the inside outward.

4. Finish – Create a flat chisel-shaped surface with a fine side edge for controlled brow drawing.

The flat surface can be used for filling larger brow areas, while the narrow edge helps create more precise lines and definition.

Important Tip: Expose Only 1–2 mm

The pencil core is relatively soft. For better control and to reduce the chance of breakage, expose only approximately 1–2 mm at a time.

Avoid extending more than necessary, as an excessively long exposed core is more likely to break during shaping or application.

If the tip accidentally breaks, simply peel back a small additional section and reshape the core before continuing.
